Accommodation services

Finding suitable accommodation in Switzerland can be challenging,particularly for international students. The Helvetic Institute of Technologysupports students in securing housing near the campus and within the LakeGeneva region.

A limited number of accommodation options are reserved for students andare allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Early application istherefore strongly recommended. Available options include both private andshared housing, all within convenient distance of the campus.

For students who prefer to arrange their own accommodation, guidance isprovided on the local rental market, including practical advice on housingoptions, locations, and tenancy considerations.

Visa and immigration support

Navigating Swiss visa and immigration procedures can be complex,especially for students arriving from outside the EU or EEA. Student Servicesprovides step-by-step guidance throughout the process, from the initial visaapplication to residence permit procedures during your studies.

The team supports students by preparing required institutional documentsand providing guidance on the specific requirements of Swiss consulates andembassies.
