The admissions process at Helvetic Tech is designed to be clear, structured, and accessible, while ensuring that applicants have the academic foundation and motivation required to succeed in a technology-focused environment.
Applications are open to candidates of all nationalities. The admissions team provides guidance throughout each stage, from initial application to final enrollment. With a rolling admissions process, candidates can apply at any time and receive timely feedback.

Required documents
Applicants are typically required to submit:

Offer and enrollment
To confirm your enrollment, you must:
- Sign and return the offer letter and student agreement

Eligibility requirements
Bachelor programs
Applicants must hold a recognized secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Master programs
Applicants must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
English proficiency
Applicants whose previous education was not conducted in English may be required to demonstrate sufficient proficiency.

Additional costs
Students should plan for living expenses in Switzerland, including:
- Accommodation: from CHF 750/month
- Health insurance: from CHF 150/month

Costs vary depending on lifestyle and housing choices.
Accommodation
Helvetic Tech supports students in finding accommodation in the Lake Geneva region.
A limited number of accommodation options are reserved for students and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to high demand, early application is strongly recommended.

Helvetic Tech offers three intakes per year:

- September
This structure provides flexibility in choosing when to begin your studies.
Visa and arrival
Students requiring a visa must complete the application process through their local Swiss embassy or consulate.
Helvetic Tech provides guidance and supporting documentation throughout this process. Applicants are encouraged to apply early due to visa processing timelines.
Credit transfer
Applicants may request recognition of prior learning or credit transfer.
Each request is evaluated individually based on course content and academic standards.

What programs does AUS offer?
AUS offers Dual Swiss andUS Bachelor and Master degree programs in partnership with Tiffin University(Ohio, USA). Bachelor specializations include Accounting, Business Management,Healthcare Administration, Human Resource Management, Integrated and Digital Marketing, International Business, and two Sports Management tracks. Masterspecializations include Aviation Management, Data Analytics, Finance,Healthcare Administration, Human Resource Management, International Business, Leadership and Change, Sports Management, and Strategic Brand and Digital Marketing.
How long does the application review take?
The Admissions Committeereviews complete applications within 72 hours. Applicants will be contacted viaemail with a preliminary decision or to schedule a follow-up interview.
Is there an application fee?
Yes. An application fee ofCHF 250 is required before the admissions team reviews the applicationdocuments. This fee is non-refundable.
What is the admissions interview?
As part of the admissionsprocess, prospective students participate in a video interview conducted via Zoom or Google Meet. The interview assesses your ability to express personal experiences and opinions, creativity, and originality in solving complex subjects.
Do I need to provide proofof English proficiency?
Yes. Proof of Englishproficiency is required of all applicants whose native language is not Englishand whose primary language of instruction in secondary or higher education wasnot English. Applicants whose primary language of instruction was English maysubmit a Medium of Instruction proof instead.
Can I transfer credits fromanother institution?
Yes, AUS operates a credittransfer system based on the principle of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).Candidates wishing to apply for credit transfer should include the requireddocumentation with their admissions application. Results of credit transferassessments are communicated alongside the Offer Letter.
Does AUS help with the visa process?
Absolutely. Once youreceive your Acceptance Letter, AUS’s Student Services team provides fullguidance throughout the Swiss student visa application process, including preparation of institutional documentation and advice on consulate-specific requirements.
What are the tuition fees?
Bachelor Dual Degreetuition is CHF 9’350 per term (CHF 28’000 per year) and Master Dual Degreetuition is CHF 8’350 per term (CHF 25’000 per year). Book and tech fees areinvoiced separately per course. An application fee of CHF 250 and an admissionsfee of CHF 1’500 also apply.
Are there scholarships available?
AUS offers several fundingoptions including self-funding, scholarships, sponsorship arrangements, andstudy loan partnerships. Prospective students are encouraged to contact theadmissions team for detailed information about final-cial support opportunities.
When can I start?
AUS operates three intakesper year: Winter (January), Spring (April), and Fall (September). This trimester structure provides flexibility for students to begin at the time thatbest suits their circumstances.
